Ingredients
- 2 small apples
- 1/2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2c apple cider (we have that!)
- 5 oz plain yogurt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
Directions
- Core, peel, chop apples
- Melt butter in small saucepan and add apples. Saute until they are really soft, stirring occasionally
- Add apple cider and stir to combine over low heat, until warmed. Remove from heat
- Using a blender, immersion blender, or food processor, puree the apple mixture. Be careful to vent to blender or food processor to avoid burns and cover blender/food processor with towel to prevent a mess
- Add the yogurt and spices, stir to combine. Serve immediately, garnish with apple slices (and cinnamon sticks if desired)
