Marching Into Spring!
Let’s march into Spring together by 1. Celebrating the longer days (thank goodness!) 2. Marking your calendar for Bauer’s Annual Spring Open House, Kickoff Days event 3. Begin our seed starting!  Have you developed your garden plan for 2018 yet?  If not, we suggest you get to it fairly soon.  And don’t stress- it can be a simple draft!  So long as you have a rough plan, it’ll work.  In the wise words of Benjamin Franklin, “When we fail to plan, we plan to fail”.  Here at Bauer’s, we want you to succeed in your gardens!  Start by figuring out what you want to focus on for 2018, is it veggie plots or flower planting, or maybe your perennial beds (landscaping greatly increases your property value) need some attention.  Whatever it is, Bauer’s has solutions and we’re happy to assist you in whatever direction you focus.  Your next step is to know how much sunlight each of your areas will receive and what type of sun (morning, afternoon) you have – this is key in determining what plants will thrive in those areas.  You’ll also need to know how many and what size your pots are or what type of soil you have if you’re planting in the ground.  After figuring out these things, you’ll have a great start to your garden plan!
