May Day is this Week!
Do you remember making May Day baskets as a kid?  During elementary school, we always created a basket, filled it with clovers & dandelions from the playground, and then usually gave them to friends or teachers.  Once home, I never wanted the fun of giving to end and I’d typically make more baskets and stuffed them with trinkets from around the house or maybe even candy from the kitchen… and of course, more dandelions.  I’d give these to my siblings, parents, or unsuspecting neighbors.  Every year, this tradition was always the highlight of my week!
Pick up where you left off when you were a kid, or begin something new, and start this tradition with your kids, grandkids, or nieces and nephews this year and it’s safe to say they’ll love it too!
If you don’t have time to make your own, Bauer’s Market & Garden Center has some made ahead for you!  We also have empty baskets available for you to fill with a personalized treat for your secret recipients.
