• 1c sugar
  • 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/4c water
  • 1/4c butter
  • 1/4c whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp. sour cream
  • 3/4 tsp coarse sea salt


  1. In a pot, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water over medium heat.  DO NOT stir
  2. Cook about 10 minutes or until the sugar turns a dark caramel color
  3. While still on heat, add the remaining ingredients.  Whisk until smooth
  4. Pour into a heatproof container
  5. Serve with sliced apples (or wherever else you’d use caramel sauce)
